  2. 2. Remove the seeds from one of the halves.
  3. 3. Squeeze the deseeded half to extract the juice.
  4. 4. Pour the pomegranate juice and sugar into a small saucepan.
  5. 5. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it boils.
  6. 6. Simmer the syrup for about 5 minutes until it becomes syrupy.
  7. 7. Let the syrup cool down completely.
  8. 8. Cut the lime in half.
  9. 9. Slice one of the lime halves into thin rounds.
  10. 10. Squeeze the other lime half to extract the juice.
  11. 11. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  12. 12. Add some pomegranate seeds to the glass.
  13. 13. Pour the vodka into the glass.
  14. 14. Add the cooled pomegranate syrup.
  15. 15. Add one tablespoon of lime juice to the glass.
  16. 16. Top up the glass with ginger ale.
  17. 17. Garnish the drink with the lime slices.
