🍽️ Gözleme – fried stuffed flatbreads with minced meat

Ingredients
- Weat flour, Type 405 180 g
- Salt pinch
- Water 100 ml
- Onions, yellow 1 pc.
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- feta 100 g
- Olives, green 60 g
- Sunflower oil 5 tbsp
- Beef minced meat 350 g
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Paprika, sweet mild pinch
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually knead in about 100 ml of lukewarm water until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest covered.
- 2. Halve the onion, peel and finely chop it. Peel and dice the garlic. Crumble the feta cheese. Drain and chop the olives.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over high heat and fry the minced meat for about 4 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir in the feta and olives.
- 4. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions, roll them into balls, and flatten them into rounds on a floured surface. Place the meat mixture on top, fold the dough over to form half-moons, and slightly roll and press the edges.
- 5. In the cleaned pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over high heat and fry the gözleme in portions for about 4–5 minutes on each side until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Serve the gözleme hot or cold.
