  5. 5. Cut the zucchini and eggplants into 1 cm cubes.
  6. 6. Wash the bell peppers.
  7. 7. Remove the core from the bell peppers.
  8. 8. Cut the bell peppers into cubes.
  9. 9. Wash the cherry tomatoes.
  10. 10. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  11. 11. Place the gnocchi in the deep steam cooking insert.
  12. 12. Put the onion and garlic into the mixing container.
  13. 13. Chop the onion and garlic for 4 seconds at speed 8.
  14. 14. Add the oil.
  15. 15. Sauté the mixture for 4 minutes on the sauté setting.
  16. 16. Add the halved cherry tomatoes.
  17. 17. Chop the tomatoes for 6 seconds at speed 8.
  18. 18. Add the zucchini, eggplants, and bell peppers.
  19. 19. Add the olives.
  20. 20. Add the water.
  21. 21. Add 0.5 teaspoons of salt.
  22. 22. Add a pinch of pepper.
  23. 23. Add the Italian herbs.
  24. 24. Place the steam cooking insert on top.

  26. 26. Steam the vegetables for 20 minutes.
  27. 27. Wash the basil in the meantime.
  28. 28. Shake the basil dry.
  29. 29. Pluck the basil leaves off the stems.
  30. 30. Cut the Genießerblock (a type of cheese) into cubes.
  31. 31. Alternatively, crumble the Genießerblock roughly with your hands.
  32. 32. Set the steam cooking insert aside.
  33. 33. Season the Mediterranean vegetables to taste.
  34. 34. Plate the gnocchi with the vegetables.
  35. 35. Serve the dish with the Genießerblock and basil.
