🍽️ Crispy Gnocchi Casserole with Ham and Spinach

Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- baby spinach 300 g
- Gouda, young block 150 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- ham cubes 100 g
- whipping cream 200 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- nutmeg, ground pinch
- gnocchi, fresh 800 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Cut the onion in half and peel off the skin.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 4. Wash the spinach thoroughly and let it drain well.
- 5. Remove the rind from the cheese and cut it into coarse chunks.
- 6. Place the cheese chunks in the mixing container and chop them for 10 seconds on speed 8.
- 7. Pour the chopped cheese into a separate bowl.
- 8. Clean the mixing container thoroughly.
- 9. Add the halved onions and the garlic to the clean mixing container.
- 10. Chop the onions and garlic for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 11. Use a spatula to push the ingredients down from the sides.
- 12. Add the oil and the ham.
- 13. Fry the mixture for 4 minutes on the sauté setting, without placing the lid on.
- 14. Add the drained spinach and the cream to the pan.
- 15. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
- 16. Cook the sauce for 5 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1 in reverse stirring mode.
- 17. Place the gnocchi into a baking dish.
- 18. Mix the gnocchi with the ham cream sauce.
- 19. Distribute the previously chopped cheese evenly over the top.
- 20. Bake the casserole in the oven for about 30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
- 21. Carefully remove the casserole from the oven.
- 22. Serve the dish hot and enjoy your meal!
