  2. 2. Cut the onion in half and peel off the skin.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic cloves.
  4. 4. Wash the spinach thoroughly and let it drain well.
  5. 5. Remove the rind from the cheese and cut it into coarse chunks.
  6. 6. Place the cheese chunks in the mixing container and chop them for 10 seconds on speed 8.
  7. 7. Pour the chopped cheese into a separate bowl.
  8. 8. Clean the mixing container thoroughly.
  9. 9. Add the halved onions and the garlic to the clean mixing container.
  10. 10. Chop the onions and garlic for 4 seconds on speed 8.
  11. 11. Use a spatula to push the ingredients down from the sides.
  12. 12. Add the oil and the ham.
  13. 13. Fry the mixture for 4 minutes on the sauté setting, without placing the lid on.
  14. 14. Add the drained spinach and the cream to the pan.
  15. 15. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg.
  16. 16. Cook the sauce for 5 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1 in reverse stirring mode.
  17. 17. Place the gnocchi into a baking dish.
  18. 18. Mix the gnocchi with the ham cream sauce.
  19. 19. Distribute the previously chopped cheese evenly over the top.
  20. 20. Bake the casserole in the oven for about 30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
  21. 21. Carefully remove the casserole from the oven.
