🍽️ Creamy Gnocchi with Lemon and Garlic

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 2 pcs.
- organic lemons 2 pcs.
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- salt pinch
- gnocchi, fresh 800 g
- olive oil 5 tbsp
- chili, ground 1 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them into very thin pieces.
- 2. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 3. Grate about one teaspoon of fine lemon zest.
- 4. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 5. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 6. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 7. Chop the parsley leaves coarsely.
- 8. Bring about five liters of water with salt to a boil in a pot.
- 9. Cook the gnocchi in the boiling salted water for about four to five minutes.
- 10. Remove the gnocchi as soon as they float to the surface.
- 11. Lift the gnocchi out of the water with a slotted spoon.
- 12. Let the gnocchi drain in a sieve.
- 13. Save some of the cooking water for later.
- 14. Heat five tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over low to medium heat.
- 15. Add the garlic slices, one teaspoon of chili flakes, and the lemon zest to the pan.
- 16. Heat the spices in the pan for about three minutes.
- 17. Add the gnocchi to the pan.
- 18. Fry the gnocchi in the pan for about four to five minutes.
- 19. Add a few tablespoons of the saved cooking water as desired.
- 20. Fold the chopped parsley into the gnocchi.
- 21. Season the dish with the lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- 22. Distribute the gnocchi onto plates and serve.
