🍽️ Crunchy Gluten-Free Country Bread

Ingredients
- water 600 ml
- yeast, fresh 1 pcs
- sugar 1 tsp
- flour, gluten-free 1000 g
- salt 1 tbsp
- oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Pour lukewarm water into a large bowl.
- 2. Crumble the yeast into the water.
- 3. Stir the yeast and sugar together until fully dissolved.
- 4. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for ten minutes.
- 5. Gradually add the flour and the salt.
- 6. Process the ingredients with a hand mixer and dough hooks to form a smooth dough.
- 7. Let the dough rise for about one hour.
- 8. Lightly dust your work surface with flour.
- 9. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface.
- 10. Knead the four sides of the dough from the outside in with slightly damp hands.
- 11. Place the dough back into a bowl.
- 12. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel.
- 13. Let the dough rise for another thirty minutes.
- 14. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 15. Fill the dough into a bread or loaf pan.
- 16. Brush the surface of the bread with oil.
- 17. Make light slashes on the top with a sharp knife.
- 18. Bake the bread for about 45 minutes in the oven.
- 19. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a rack.
- 20. Serve the bread after it has cooled.
