  1. 1. Heat the oven to 180 °C (convection). Grease a baking dish (25 x 30 cm). Cut the butter into large pieces and chop the chocolate roughly. Bring about 500 ml of water to a boil in a pot. Melt the butter and chocolate in a metal bowl over the hot water bath.
  2. 2. Whisk sugar and eggs in a separate bowl. Add the melted butter and chocolate and mix everything into a homogeneous mass. Sift in the flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt and stir everything into a dough. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
  3. 3. Bake the brownies for about 35 minutes in the oven, let them cool briefly, sprinkle them with a little sea salt, and serve them lukewarm or cold. Enjoy!
