  1. 1. Place the cherries in a sieve and catch the juice. Measure the cherry juice down to 250 ml and bring it to a brief boil in a pot together with the wine, sugar, allspice, and cinnamon. Then remove the pot from the heat and let it steep covered for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. In a bowl, soak the gelatin in cold water. Squeeze the gelatin lightly and dissolve it in the warm mulled wine mixture. Add the cherries and fill the mixture into dessert bowls. Let it set in the refrigerator for about 4 hours or overnight.
  3. 3. In a bowl, whip the cream stiff using a hand mixer and the whisk attachment. Let the vanilla sugar trickle in and serve the whipped cream together with the mulled wine cherry dessert. Enjoy your meal!
