Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 250 ml
- sugar 4 tbsp
- wheat flour, Type 405 500 g
- salt pinch
- marzipan raw mass 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Mix the yeast with warm water and sugar in a bowl.
- 2. Let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
- 3. Add flour and salt to the bowl.
- 4. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 5. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 6. Wait until the volume of the dough has doubled.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 °C conventional heat.
- 8. Knead the dough once more briefly.
- 9. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
- 10. Roll out the dough thinly.
- 11. Cut or punch out squares with a side length of about 2 cm.
- 12. Divide the dough into a small and a large portion.
- 13. Roll out the marzipan thinly with a rolling pin.
- 14. Cut out clover shapes from the smaller dough portion.
- 15. Cut out more squares from the larger dough portion.
- 16. Place the yeast dough squares on a baking sheet.
- 17. Layer the dough sheets alternately with thin marzipan layers.
- 18. Ensure that a total of four layers are created.
- 19. Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes in the oven.
- 20. Remove the lucky bites from the oven.
- 21. Let the cookies cool completely.
- 22. Decorate each cookie with a marzipan clover.
- 23. Serve the cookies and enjoy them.
