🥤 Glögg - Glühwein with Raisins and Almonds

Ingredients
- ginger, fresh 20 g
- cinnamon stick 2 pcs.
- oranges 1 pc.
- red wine, dry 750 ml
- raisins 50 g
- brown sugar 60 g
- almonds, whole 40 g
- white rum 40 ml
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger and dice it finely. Break the cinnamon stick into pieces. Rinse the orange thoroughly and slice it. Place everything in a tea filter.
- 2. In a pot, heat the tea filter with the wine, raisins, and sugar, but do not let it boil. Let it steep covered for 15 minutes.
- 3. Chop the almonds coarsely and divide them among 4–6 glasses, then pour the rum over them. Reheat the wine mixture, remove the spices, and divide the wine with the raisins among the glasses. Adjust to taste with additional sugar if desired, and serve garnished with cinnamon sticks if you like. Prost!
