🍰 Gin-Tonic Tiramisu

Ingredients
- Organic Limes 2 pcs
- Whipping cream 200 ml
- Fresh cheese, plain 200 g
- Crème fraîche 200 g
- Yogurt, plain 150 g
- Powdered sugar 40 g
- Gin 30 ml
- Tonic water 30 ml
- Ladyfingers 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the limes thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Finely grate the zest from one lime (this is about 3 teaspoons).
- 3. Cut this lime in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 4. Wash the second lime as well.
- 5. Slice the second lime into very thin rounds.
- 6. Pour the whipping cream into a tall container.
- 7. Whip the cream stiff using a hand mixer and a whisk attachment.
- 8. Place the cream cheese, crème fraîche, and yogurt in a separate bowl.
- 9. Add 10 teaspoons of powdered sugar.
- 10. Add 2 teaspoons of the previously grated lime zest.
- 11. Add 1 tablespoon of the lime juice.
- 12. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 13. Stir the gin into the mixture.
- 14. Stir the tonic water into the mixture.
- 15. Gently fold the stiffly whipped cream into the cream mixture.
- 16. Taste the gin-tonic cream at the end and adjust if necessary.
- 17. Soak the ladyfinger biscuits with the remaining lime juice.
- 18. Place half of the biscuits side by side on the bottom of a baking dish.
- 19. Spread half of the gin-tonic cream evenly over the biscuits.
- 20. Place the remaining biscuits on top.
- 21. Spread the remaining cream as the top layer.
- 22. Decorate the tiramisu with the thin lime slices.
- 23. Sprinkle the remaining lime zest over it.
- 24. Place the tiramisu in the refrigerator until serving.
