  2. 2. Place the sliced almonds in a dry frying pan.
  3. 3. Toast the almonds briefly over medium heat.
  4. 4. Remove the almonds from the pan and let them cool down completely.
  5. 5. Cut the apricots into small cubes.
  6. 6. Add the apricot cubes, raisins, and Amaretto to a bowl.
  7. 7. Mix the fruits thoroughly with the liqueur.
  8. 8. Put the butter, sugar, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
  9. 9. Beat the ingredients until creamy using a hand mixer with a whisk attachment.
  10. 10. Add the eggs one by one and continue stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
  11. 11. Mix the flour, baking powder, and spices in a separate bowl.
  12. 12. Alternate by adding the flour mixture and the milk to the batter in turns.
  13. 13. Gently fold the dried fruits into the finished batter.
  14. 14. Grease a 22-centimeter Bundt cake pan.
