Ingredients
- Sugar 300 g
- Cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- Cloves, ground 0.25 tsp
- Vanilla Sugar 1 tbsp
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Oranges 1 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Add sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla sugar to the mixing bowl.
- 3. Pulverize the spice mixture for 5 seconds using the turbo button.
- 4. Separate the eggs and save the yolks for another recipe.
- 5. Wash the orange and dry it thoroughly.
- 6. Grate about one teaspoon of orange zest.
- 7. Attach the whisk to the mixing bowl.
- 8. Add the egg whites and powdered sugar to the bowl.
- 9. Whip the mixture for 10 minutes at speed 2 and 37 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Add the orange zest.
- 11. Whip the mixture for another 5 minutes at speed 2 and 37 degrees Celsius.
- 12. Fill the meringue mixture into a piping bag.
- 13. Pipe small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 14. Bake the meringues for 90 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 15. Turn off the oven after baking.
- 16. Let the meringues cool down completely inside the closed oven.
