  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Add sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla sugar to the mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Pulverize the spice mixture for 5 seconds using the turbo button.
  4. 4. Separate the eggs and save the yolks for another recipe.
  5. 5. Wash the orange and dry it thoroughly.
  6. 6. Grate about one teaspoon of orange zest.
  7. 7. Attach the whisk to the mixing bowl.
  8. 8. Add the egg whites and powdered sugar to the bowl.
  9. 9. Whip the mixture for 10 minutes at speed 2 and 37 degrees Celsius.
  10. 10. Add the orange zest.
  11. 11. Whip the mixture for another 5 minutes at speed 2 and 37 degrees Celsius.
  12. 12. Fill the meringue mixture into a piping bag.
  13. 13. Pipe small mounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  14. 14. Bake the meringues for 90 minutes in the preheated oven.
  15. 15. Turn off the oven after baking.
  16. 16. Let the meringues cool down completely inside the closed oven.
