  1. 1. Wash the lemon thoroughly, grate about 1 tsp of zest, halve it, and squeeze out the juice. In a bowl, mix sour cream, lemon zest, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt, and pepper well and season to taste.
  2. 2. Coarsely chop the walnuts and toast them in a pan without additional fat over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  3. 3. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Halve the lettuce hearts lengthwise, wash them thoroughly, and shake off the water.
  4. 4. Melt the butter in the pan over medium heat and sweat the garlic for about 1 minute. Then add the lettuce hearts cut-side down and fry for about 2 minutes. Turn, add wine and broth, season with salt and pepper, and braise for approx. 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Garnish and serve the fried lettuce with the lemon sour cream and walnuts. Serve with baguette. Enjoy your meal!
