Ingredients
- Vegetable onions 2 pcs
- Butter 6 tbsp
- Nutmeg, ground pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Maultaschen with pork 800 g
- Sweet mustard 1 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Water 2 tbsp
- Pears 1 pc
- Corn salad 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Halve the onions, peel them, and cut them into approximately 0.5 cm cubes. Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a pot over medium heat and cook the onions covered, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes. Add nutmeg and season with salt and pepper.
- 2. Bring about 4 liters of salted water to a boil in a large pot, add the Maultaschen, and let them simmer for about 10 minutes. In a bowl, whisk together sweet mustard, honey, 2 tablespoons of oil, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of water, then season with salt and pepper.
- 3. Wash the pears, quarter them, remove the seeds, and cut them into roughly 0.5 cm pieces. Wash the lamb's lettuce and shake off excess water. Add the salad and pears to the dressing and gently combine.
- 4. Use a slotted spoon to remove the Maultaschen from the salted water and place them on plates. Top with the onions and garnish with the lamb's lettuce.
