  8. 8. Remove the ends of the zucchini.
  9. 9. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
  10. 10. Slice the zucchini halves into rounds.

  12. 12. Peel the shallot halves.
  13. 13. Thread the prepared carrots onto the skewers.
