🍽️ Crispy Vegetable Fries with Sesame Quark Dip

Ingredients
- Beetroot, pre-cooked 300 g
- Parsnips 4 pcs
- Sweet potatoes 2 pcs
- Kohlrabi 2 pcs
- Thyme, rubbed pinch
- Paprika, sweet 1 tsp
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
- Sea salt pinch
- Sesame, white 3 tsp
- Quark 40 % fat in trace 250 g
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Peel the beetroot, parsnips, sweet potatoes, and kohlrabi.
- 3. Cut the peeled vegetables into sticks about one centimeter thick.
- 4. Place the vegetables into a large bowl.
- 5. Add thyme, paprika powder, and oil to the vegetables.
- 6. Season the mixture with salt.
- 7. Mix everything well so that the vegetables are evenly seasoned.
- 8. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 9. Spread the vegetables evenly on the tray.
- 10. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- 11. Heat a pan over medium heat.
- 12. Add the sesame seeds to the hot pan.
- 13. Toast the sesame seeds without extra fat for two to three minutes.
- 14. Remove the vegetables from the oven after ten minutes of baking time.
- 15. Turn the vegetables to ensure even cooking.
- 16. Return the vegetables to the oven and continue baking.
- 17. Place the quark into a small bowl.
- 18. Add the toasted sesame seeds to the quark.
- 19. Season the dip mixture with soy sauce.
- 20. Mix the quark and sesame seeds together well.
- 21. Remove the finished vegetables from the oven.
- 22. Serve the hot vegetables with the sesame quark dip.
