🍽️ Chicken and Vegetable Casserole with Cheese Crust

Ingredients
- Parmesan 100 g
- onions, yellow 1 pc
- garlic cloves 1 pc
- rosemary, fresh 5 g
- thyme, fresh 5 g
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- zucchini 1 pc
- pepper, red 1 pc
- pepper, yellow 1 pc
- cherry tomatoes 250 g
- whipping cream 200 ml
- tomatoes, chopped 800 g
- tomato paste 20 g
- sugar pinch
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- Penne Rigate 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (conventional heat).
- 2. Put the parmesan into the mixing bowl.
- 3. Grind the cheese for 10 seconds on the highest speed setting.
- 4. Pour the ground parmesan crumbs into a small bowl and set aside.
- 5. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 6. Peel the garlic clove.
- 7. Rinse the rosemary and thyme sprigs under running water.
- 8. Shake the herbs dry.
- 9. Pluck the small leaves off the rosemary and thyme sprigs.
- 10. Rinse the chicken meat under cold water.
- 11. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 12. Cut the chicken meat into thin strips.
- 13. Wash the zucchini.
- 14. Cut off the hard ends of the zucchini.
- 15. Cut the zucchini into rough, irregular chunks.
- 16. Wash the bell pepper.
- 17. Cut the bell pepper in half lengthwise.
- 18. Remove the hard stem and the white core from the bell pepper.
- 19. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- 20. Put the halved onions, the garlic, the rosemary, and the thyme leaves into the mixing container.
- 21. Grind the ingredients for 4 seconds on speed 8.
- 22. Use a spatula to push the chopped ingredients from the sides down to the center.
- 23. Add the zucchini and bell pepper chunks to the onion mixture.
- 24. Grind everything for 6 seconds on speed 6.
- 25. Add the cream to the mixture.
- 26. Add the chopped tomatoes from the can.
- 27. Add the tomato paste.
- 28. Add one teaspoon of sugar.
- 29. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 30. Cook the sauce for 10 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1.
- 31. Take a baking dish.
- 32. Pour the finished sauce into the baking dish.
- 33. Add the pasta to the baking dish.
- 34. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the baking dish.
- 35. Add the chicken strips to the baking dish.
- 36. Mix all ingredients in the dish well together.
- 37. Sprinkle the previously ground parmesan evenly over the casserole.
- 38. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 39. Bake the casserole for about 30 minutes.
- 40. Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven.
- 41. Serve the casserole hot.
