  2. 2. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
  3. 3. Clean the mushrooms with a kitchen towel and cut them into small cubes.
  4. 4. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
  5. 5. Wash the basil, shake it dry, and pluck off the leaves.
  6. 6. Chop the basil leaves roughly.
  7. 7. Whisk the eggs and milk thoroughly in a bowl with a fork or whisk.
  8. 8. Fold the chopped basil leaves into the egg and milk mixture.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. 10. Distribute the prepared vegetables and cheese evenly among six jars with a capacity of about 160 milliliters each.
  11. 11. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the vegetables in the jars.
  12. 12. Place the jars on the middle rack in the preheated oven.
  13. 13. Bake the frittatas for about 25 to 30 minutes.
  14. 14. Take the jars out of the oven.
  15. 15. Serve the dishes immediately or pack them for on-the-go.
