🍽️ Grilled Porterhouse with Onion Butter

Ingredients
- Porterhouse Steak 600 g
- Salt Pinch
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Butter 250 g
- Onions, red 1 pc.
- Chives, fresh 15 g
- Sugar 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Take the Porterhouse steak out of the refrigerator.
- 2. Rinse the meat briefly and pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Take the butter out of the refrigerator so it becomes soft.
- 5. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 6. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
- 7. Wash the chives and shake them dry.
- 8. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 9. Heat one tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 10. Fry the onion strips for about five minutes.
- 11. Sprinkle sugar over the onions.
- 12. Let the onions caramelize.
- 13. Let the onions cool down slightly.
- 14. Preheat the grill.
- 15. Grill the Porterhouse steak for about five to seven minutes on both sides.
- 16. Grill the steak medium or to your desired level of doneness.
- 17. Wrap the cooked steak in aluminum foil.
- 18. Let the steak rest in the foil for about five minutes.
- 19. Take a bowl.
- 20. Mix the soft butter with the fried onions.
- 21. Fold in the chive rings.
- 22. Season the butter mixture generously with salt and pepper.
- 23. Remove the steak from the aluminum foil.
- 24. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
- 25. Put the onion butter over the meat.
- 26. Let the butter melt slightly.
- 27. Serve the dish.
