🍰 Grilled Banana Split with Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients
- Almonds, whole 3 tbsp
- Sugar 100 g
- Water 2 tbsp
- Sea salt 1 tsp
- Bananas 4 pcs
- Oil 1 tsp
- Vanilla ice cream 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Roughly chop the almonds.
- 2. Put sugar and water into a pot.
- 3. Set the stove to a low heat setting.
- 4. Let the sugar melt slowly.
- 5. Caramelize the sugar for about 8 to 10 minutes until it is golden brown.
- 6. Add the chopped almonds and sea salt to the pot.
- 7. Mix the almonds thoroughly with the caramel.
- 8. Pour the mixture directly onto a sheet of baking paper.
- 9. Let the almonds cool down completely.
- 10. Break the cooled caramelized almonds into coarse pieces.
- 11. Preheat the grill.
- 12. Cut the banana with the peel lengthwise into two halves.
- 13. Lightly brush the banana halves with oil.
- 14. Place the banana with the cut side down on the grill.
- 15. Grill the banana for about 3 minutes.
- 16. Remove the grilled banana from the grill.
- 17. Place the banana on a plate.
- 18. Add vanilla ice cream to the banana.
- 19. Sprinkle the caramelized salted almonds over it.
- 20. Serve the grilled banana split.
