  1. 1. In a bowl, mix the sugar and salt. Trim the ends of the bananas and halve them lengthwise, keeping the peels on. Sprinkle the cut sides with the sugar-salt mixture and let it sit for about 1 minute. Roughly chop the peanuts.
  2. 2. Preheat the grill. Lightly oil the grill grate and grill the bananas on the cut sides for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. 3. Place 2 banana halves on each plate and serve the grilled banana split with chocolate ice cream and peanuts. Enjoy your meal! Tip: Instead of roasted and salted peanuts, you can also use unsalted peanuts.
