🥗 Grilled Turkey Breast with Corn on the Cob and Potato-Cucumber Salad

Ingredients
- potatoes, mostly waxy 1 kg
- salt pinch
- turkey breast fillet 600 g
- oil 3 tbsp
- seasoning for poultry 2 tsp
- cucumbers 1 pc.
- chives, fresh 20 g
- vegetable broth 200 ml
- vinegar 2 tbsp
- mustard 1 tsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- corn on the cob, cooked 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Place the potatoes in a pot with salted water.
- 3. Bring the water to a boil.
- 4. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 25 minutes.
- 5. Check if the potatoes are soft.
- 6. Pat the turkey breast dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Cut the turkey breast into four steaks.
- 8. Place the turkey steaks in a bowl.
- 9. Add 1 tablespoon of oil.
- 10. Add poultry seasoning.
- 11. Add salt.
- 12. Mix everything well.
- 13. Set the bowl aside.
- 14. Wash the cucumber.
- 15. Peel the cucumber if you wish.
- 16. Halve the cucumber.
- 17. Slice the cucumber into thin slices.
- 18. Wash the chives.
- 19. Dry the chives.
- 20. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 21. Heat vegetable broth in a pot.
- 22. Drain the cooked potatoes.
- 23. Let the potatoes steam for a short while.
- 24. Peel the potatoes.
- 25. Slice the potatoes.
- 26. Place the warm potatoes in a bowl.
- 27. Pour the warm broth over the potatoes.
- 28. Add the cucumber slices.
- 29. Add 2 tablespoons of oil.
- 30. Add vinegar.
- 31. Add mustard.
- 32. Add salt.
- 33. Add pepper.
- 34. Mix everything well.
- 35. Set the salad aside to marinate.
- 36. Preheat the grill.
- 37. Place the turkey steaks on the grill.
- 38. Place the corn cobs on the grill.
- 39. Grill the turkey breast for about 5 minutes on one side.
- 40. Turn the turkey breast only when it no longer sticks to the grate.
- 41. Grill the turkey breast for about 5 minutes on the other side.
- 42. Turn the corn cob several times during grilling.
- 43. Grill the corn cob for about 10 minutes.
- 44. Grill the corn cob until it is golden brown.
- 45. Remove the turkey breast from the grill.
- 46. Remove the corn cobs from the grill.
- 47. Season the salad with salt.
- 48. Season the salad with pepper.
- 49. Plate the salad.
- 50. Sprinkle the corn cob with a little salt.
- 51. Serve the corn cob together with the turkey breast alongside the salad.
- 52. Garnish the dish with chives.
