🍽️ Grilled Chicken Skewers with Avocado Corn Salsa

Ingredients
- Chicken skewers 400 g
- Corn from the can 250 g
- Garlic cloves 2 pcs
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Organic limes 1 pc
- Avocado 1 pc
- Cilantro, fresh 20 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Sugar pinch
- Chili, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Take the chicken skewers out of the fridge to let them reach room temperature.
- 2. Pour the corn into a sieve and let it drain well.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
- 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 5. Fry the garlic in it for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it starts to turn lightly golden brown.
- 6. Mix the garlic immediately with the fat in a bowl with the drained corn.
- 7. Wash the lime and grate about 1 teaspoon of fine zest.
- 8. Halve the lime and squeeze out the juice.
- 9. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
- 10. Use a spoon to loosen the flesh from the skin and chop it into coarse cubes.
- 11. Wash the cilantro, shake it dry, and remove the thick stems.
- 12. Finely chop the cilantro.
- 13. Add the avocado, lime zest, and cilantro to the corn.
- 14. Season the mixture to taste with some lime juice, salt, pepper, sugar, and chili powder.
- 15. Preheat the grill.
- 16. Grill the chicken skewers for about 4 to 6 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
- 17. Remove the finished skewers from the grill.
- 18. Carefully remove the chicken meat from the wooden skewers.
- 19. Serve the meat with the avocado corn salsa.
