  3. 3. Strip the leaves from the rosemary and thyme stems.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic.
  5. 5. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  6. 6. Finely grate about one teaspoon of lemon zest.
  7. 7. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  8. 8. Place the rosemary, thyme, and garlic into the mixing container.
  9. 9. Chop the ingredients for 4 seconds on speed 8.
  10. 10. Add olive oil, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  11. 11. Mix the marinade for 30 seconds on speed 3.
  12. 12. Wash the chicken breasts.
  13. 13. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a kitchen towel.
  14. 14. Place the chicken breasts in a bowl or a freezer bag.
  15. 15. Mix the chicken breasts thoroughly with the marinade.
  16. 16. Marinate the chicken breasts in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  17. 17. For best results, marinate them overnight.
