🍽️ Grilled Meatballs with Hummus

Ingredients
- garlic cloves 2 pcs
- onions, red 1 pcs
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- mint, fresh 10 g
- chickpeas from the can 240 g
- lemons 1 pcs
- ground beef 600 g
- salt pinch
- paprika, sweet 1 tbsp
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- cumin 0.5 tsp
- sesame, white 4 tbsp
- olive oil 3 tbsp
- pine nuts 5 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 2. Cut the onion in half, peel it, and dice it finely.
- 3. Wash the parsley and mint, dry them, and pick the leaves off the stems.
- 4. Chop the herbs finely as well.
- 5. Drain the chickpeas and rinse them thoroughly in a colander.
- 6. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 7. Place the minced meat in a bowl.
- 8. Add the diced onion, half of the garlic, and the chopped herbs.
- 9. Season the mixture with salt, paprika powder, cinnamon, and cumin.
- 10. Knead everything well until it forms a uniform mass.
- 11. Form small balls from the meat mixture.
- 12. Place the chickpeas, lemon juice, remaining garlic, sesame seeds, and 3 tablespoons of cold water in a tall container.
- 13. Blend the ingredients very finely until a smooth hummus is formed.
- 14. Season the hummus with salt and cumin to taste.
- 15. Transfer the hummus into a bowl.
- 16. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 17. Toast the pine nuts in the oil for about 2 minutes.
- 18. Season the pine nuts with salt.
- 19. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 20. Add the remaining herbs to the hot oil.
- 21. Preheat the grill.
- 22. Roast the meatballs on the grill for about 4 minutes.
- 23. Arrange the grilled meatballs on top of the hummus.
- 24. Drizzle the pine nuts and herb oil over the top.
- 25. Serve the dish and enjoy your meal.
