🍽️ Crispy Grilled Fish Balls

Ingredients
- Cod, frozen 600 g
- Sea salt Pinch
- Spring onions 1 bunch
- Rosemary, fresh 10 g
- Basil, fresh 20 g
- Thyme, fresh 20 g
- Lemons 1 pc.
- Eggs 1 pc.
- Breadcrumbs 9 tbsp
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the frozen cod overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Bring a pot of one liter of salted water to a boil.
- 3. Cook the cod in the boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 4. Remove the fish from the water and let it drain well on kitchen paper.
- 5. Break the fish into fine pieces and let it cool down completely.
- 6. Wash the spring onions, shake them dry and slice them into fine rings.
- 7. Wash the herbs, separate the leaves and needles from the stems and chop them finely.
- 8. Halve the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
- 9. Mix the fish in a bowl with the egg, spring onions, herbs, lemon juice and 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
- 10. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- 11. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions.
- 12. Shape each portion into an oval ball.
- 13. Roll the balls in the remaining breadcrumbs.
- 14. Grease a grill pan well.
- 15. Place the fish balls on the hot grill pan.
- 16. Fry the balls for about 5 minutes.
- 17. Turn the balls occasionally and move them to the edge of the grill towards the end.
- 18. Serve the fish balls hot and enjoy.
