  2. 2. Halve the onions and peel them.
  3. 3. Cut the onions into thin strips.
  4. 4. Slice the smoked tofu into thin slices.
  5. 5. Cut the bread diagonally.
  6. 6. Make sure the cuts are about 3.5 centimeters deep.
  7. 7. Leave about 2.5 centimeters uncut at the bottom of the bread.
  8. 8. Carefully open the bread so it does not fall apart.
  9. 9. Drizzle 6 tablespoons of olive oil onto the cut surfaces.
  10. 10. Distribute the vegan grated cheese substitute evenly into the cuts.
  11. 11. Place the cheese slices into the cuts.
  12. 12. Fill the smoked tofu slices into the cuts.
  13. 13. Distribute the prepared onion strips into the cuts.
