🍽️ Zucchini with Ground Meat Filling and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- Zucchini 4 pcs.
- Salt Pinch
- Onions, yellow 1 pcs
- Ground meat, mixed 600 g
- Mustard 1 tsp
- Tomato paste 1 tbsp
- Herbs of Provence, dried Pinch
- Pepper, black ground Pinch
- Garlic cloves 1 pcs
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Tomatoes, chopped 400 g
- Sugar Pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (convection). Wash the zucchini, trim the ends, and halve them lengthwise. Use a teaspoon to scoop out the soft inside, leaving a border of about 1 cm. Salt the zucchini halves.
- 2. Halve and peel the onions, then chop them finely. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the onion, mustard, tomato paste, and the herbs of Provence. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 3. Evenly fill the meat mixture into the zucchini halves. Place the stuffed zucchini on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 4. Peel and chop the garlic. Heat oil in a pan over high heat and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute. Deglaze with the chopped tomatoes and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and the herbs of Provence.
