🍽️ Minced Meat Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- thyme, fresh 10 g
- rosemary, fresh 10 g
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- lemons 1 pc.
- feta 200 g
- pork mince 600 g
- cinnamon pinch
- cayenne pepper pinch
- salt pinch
- bell peppers 500 g
- vegetable broth 150 ml
- white wine, dry 100 ml
- jasmine rice 300 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the herbs thoroughly and pat them dry.
- 3. Halve the onion, peel it, and dice it finely.
- 4. Rinse the lemon under hot water and grate about one teaspoon of the zest.
- 5. Drain the feta cheese and crumble it into small pieces.
- 6. Mix the minced meat in a bowl with the onions and the feta.
- 7. Season the mixture with the lemon zest, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- 8. Wash the peppers thoroughly.
- 9. Cut off the tops of the peppers and remove the seeds.
- 10. Fill the peppers with the minced meat mixture.
- 11. Place the lids back on the stuffed peppers.
- 12. Place the peppers side by side in a baking dish.
- 13. Pour broth and wine over the peppers.
- 14. Garnish the dish with the herb sprigs.
- 15. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake the peppers for about 30 minutes.
- 16. Bring the rice to a boil in a pot with 450 milliliters of salted water.
- 17. Cook the rice over low heat for about 12 minutes.
- 18. Remove the peppers from the oven.
- 19. Serve the peppers together with the rice.
