Ingredients
- pork loin steaks from the top round 600 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- basil, fresh 10 g
- mozzarella 1 pc.
- Black Forest ham 4 slices
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the pork cutlets under running water.
- 2. Dry the cutlets thoroughly with kitchen paper.
- 3. Season the cutlets with salt and pepper.
- 4. Wash the basil thoroughly.
- 5. Dry the basil.
- 6. Remove the basil leaves from the stems.
- 7. Drain the mozzarella.
- 8. Slice the mozzarella.
- 9. Cut the ham slices in half.
- 10. Place half a ham slice on each cutlet half.
- 11. Place a slice of mozzarella on the ham.
- 12. Distribute the basil leaves on the mozzarella.
- 13. Fold the steak over.
- 14. Secure the steak with wooden skewers.
- 15. Preheat the grill.
- 16. Grill the stuffed steaks for about 3 to 5 minutes per side on the hot grill.
- 17. Alternatively, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium to high heat.
- 18. Fry the stuffed steaks in the pan for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
