🍽️ Bacon-Wrapped Dates with Almond Center

Ingredients
- olive oil 1 tbsp
- almonds, whole 25 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- paprika, sweet pinch
- bacon 12 slices
- soft dates, dried and pitted 24 pcs
Instructions
- 1. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 2. Roast the almonds in the pan for about two minutes.
- 3. Transfer the roasted almonds into a bowl.
- 4. Season the almonds with salt, pepper, and paprika powder.
- 5. Let the seasoned almonds cool down completely.
- 6. Cut the bacon strips in half.
- 7. Stuff each date with one roasted almond.
- 8. Wrap half a piece of bacon around each stuffed date.
- 9. Place the prepared dates back into the hot pan.
- 10. Fry the dates for about two minutes over medium heat, turning them to brown all sides.
- 11. Drain the dates on kitchen paper to absorb excess grease.
- 12. Serve the dates while warm.
