🍽️ Crispy Chicken Curry Sandwich

Ingredients
- baguette 2 pcs
- chicken breast fillets 600 g
- lemons 1 pcs
- curry powder 2 tbsp
- chili, ground 0.25 tsp
- mini romaine lettuce 1 pcs
- apples, red 1 pcs
- cilantro, fresh 10 g
- onions, red 1 pcs
- oil 2 tbsp
- yogurt, plain 150 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- butter 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Place the baguettes in the oven and bake them for 10 minutes until crispy.
- 3. Rinse the chicken breast fillets under running water.
- 4. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Cut the chicken meat into small cubes.
- 6. Cut a lemon in half.
- 7. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 8. Place the chicken cubes into a bowl.
- 9. Add one tablespoon of curry powder.
- 10. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice.
- 11. Add some chili.
- 12. Mix everything well together.
- 13. Rinse the lettuce under running water.
- 14. Carefully separate the lettuce leaves from each other.
- 15. Rinse the apple under running water.
- 16. Cut the apple in half.
- 17. Remove the core from the apple.
- 18. Cut the apple into small cubes.
- 19. Rinse the coriander under running water.
- 20. Shake the coriander dry.
- 21. Finely chop the coriander.
- 22. Cut an onion in half.
- 23. Peel the onion.
- 24. Cut the onion into small cubes.
- 25. Heat oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- 26. Fry the chicken cubes together with the onion for about 5 minutes.
- 27. Place yogurt into a separate bowl.
- 28. Add the fried chicken cubes to the yogurt.
- 29. Add the apple cubes.
- 30. Add one tablespoon of curry powder.
- 31. Add the chopped coriander.
- 32. Season the mixture with some lemon juice.
- 33. Season the mixture with salt.
- 34. Season the mixture with pepper.
- 35. Carefully remove the baguettes from the oven.
- 36. Slice the baguettes lengthwise.
- 37. Spread the baguettes with butter.
- 38. Distribute the lettuce leaves on the baguettes.
- 39. Distribute the chicken curry mixture on the baguettes.
- 40. Serve the sandwiches.
- 41. Wrap the sandwiches in paper for on-the-go.
