Ingredients
- yellow onions 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- red bell peppers 2 pc.
- olive oil 5 tbsp
- vine tomatoes 500 g
- cumin 1 tsp
- sweet paprika 2 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
- black ground pepper 1 tsp
- fresh parsley 0.5 bunch
- eggs 4 pc.
- avocado 1 pc.
- red onions 2 pc.
- wraps 8 pc.
- hummus 160 g
- arugula 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and the garlic cloves.
- 2. Cut the onion and garlic into fine cubes.
- 3. Halve the bell pepper and remove the seeds.
- 4. Cut the bell pepper into small cubes.
- 5. Heat the olive oil in a large pan.
- 6. Fry the vegetable cubes for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 7. Finely chop the tomatoes.
- 8. Season the fried vegetable cubes.
- 9. Fry the spices briefly.
- 10. Stir in the chopped tomatoes.
- 11. Cover the pan with a lid.
- 12. Let the shakshuka simmer for about 20 minutes over medium heat.
- 13. Stir the shakshuka occasionally.
- 14. Ensure the sauce becomes creamy.
- 15. Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
- 16. Carefully cut the avocado flesh.
- 17. Remove the avocado slices with a spoon.
- 18. Peel the onions for the wraps.
- 19. Cut the onions into fine half-rings.
- 20. Cut each wrap once towards the center.
- 21. Spread hummus on one quarter of the wrap.
- 22. Place the onion rings on the second quarter.
- 23. Distribute the avocado on the third quarter.
- 24. Top the last quarter with arugula.
- 25. Fold the wraps together.
- 26. Grill the wraps for 1 minute as desired.
- 27. Serve the shakshuka together with the wraps.
