🍽️ Steamed Cod with Potatoes, Broccoli and Fresh Dill Sauce

Ingredients
- cod, frozen 600 g
- potatoes, waxy 800 g
- broccoli 500 g
- vegetable broth 1.5 L
- dill, fresh 10 g
- lemons 2 pcs.
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- cream cheese, plain 200 g
- cornstarch 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Ideally, thaw the cod overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Peel the potatoes and wash them thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the potatoes in half or quarters depending on their size.
- 4. Clean the broccoli and remove the tough stem.
- 5. Separate the broccoli into small florets.
- 6. Place the potatoes into the deep cooking insert.
- 7. Insert the cooking insert into the mixing bowl.
- 8. Pour hot broth into the mixing bowl.
- 9. Place the steam cooking attachment on the device.
- 10. Put the broccoli into the steam cooking attachment.
- 11. Steam the vegetables for 15 minutes on the steam setting.
- 12. Wash the dill under running water.
- 13. Dry the dill carefully.
- 14. Pluck the fine dill tips from the stems.
- 15. Finely chop the dill tips.
- 16. Slice one of the lemons into thin slices.
- 17. Wash the second lemon.
- 18. Grate about one teaspoon of lemon zest.
- 19. Cut the zested lemon in half.
- 20. Squeeze the juice from the half lemon.
- 21. Rinse the cod under cold water.
- 22. Dry the cod with a kitchen towel.
- 23. Place the lemon slices in the shallow steam cooking insert.
- 24. Place the cod on top of the lemon slices.
- 25. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- 26. Place the shallow steam cooking insert on the device.
- 27. Close the cooking container securely.
- 28. Steam the cod for another 15 minutes on the steam setting.
- 29. Remove the steam cooking container after the cooking time.
- 30. Remove the cooking insert containing the vegetables.
- 31. Empty the mixing bowl, but catch 300 milliliters of the cooking liquid.
- 32. Pour the caught liquid back into the mixing bowl.
- 33. Add the lemon zest to the liquid.
- 34. Add cream cheese to the mixing bowl.
- 35. Add the chopped dill to the mixing bowl.
- 36. Heat the sauce for 5 minutes on level 1 at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 37. Mix cornstarch with a little cold water until smooth.
- 38. Wait until the sauce comes to a boil.
- 39. Pour the starch-water mixture through the lid opening into the sauce.
- 40. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 41. Add lemon juice to taste.
- 42. Plate the cod.
- 43. Serve the fish with the steamed potatoes and broccoli.
- 44. Drizzle the warm dill sauce over everything.
