🍽️ Fried Radicchio with Smoked Trout and Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- Peppers, yellow 1 pc
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
- Balsamic vinegar, light 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Radicchio 1 pc
- Trout fillet, smoked 400 g
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Chives, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat.
- 2. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 3. Remove the stem and seeds from the bell peppers.
- 4. Cut the bell pepper flesh into very small cubes.
- 5. Put oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper into a small bowl.
- 6. Mix the ingredients for the dressing well together.
- 7. Wash the radicchio (a type of red chicory) under running water.
- 8. Remove any damaged or wilted leaves from the radicchio.
- 9. Cut the radicchio into slices about 4 centimeters thick.
- 10. Wash the chives.
- 11. Shake the chives dry.
- 12. Place the trout fillets in the preheated oven.
- 13. Warm the trout in the oven for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- 14. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 15. Fry the radicchio slices for about 1 minute on each side.
- 16. Season the fried radicchio with salt and pepper.
- 17. Place the warm radicchio on the plates.
- 18. Place the trout fillets next to the radicchio.
- 19. Sprinkle the prepared bell pepper cubes over the dish.
- 20. Drizzle everything with the previously mixed dressing.
- 21. Garnish the dish with the prepared chive stems.
