🍽️ Fried Manouri Cheese with Grapes and Walnuts

Ingredients
- thyme, fresh 5 g
- dark wine grapes 100 g
- light wine grapes 100 g
- Manouri cheese 4 pcs
- oil 1 tbsp
- walnut kernels 100 g
- salt pinch
- butter 1 tbsp
- honey 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Wash the thyme thoroughly.
- 2. Shake the thyme dry.
- 3. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 4. Wash the grapes.
- 5. Halve the grapes.
- 6. Let the Manouri cheese drain.
- 7. Pat the Manouri cheese dry with kitchen paper.
- 8. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 9. Add the walnuts and a pinch of salt to the pan.
- 10. Toast the walnuts, shaking the pan constantly, for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 11. Let the walnuts cool slightly.
- 12. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
- 13. Place the chopped walnuts in a bowl.
- 14. Add the thyme leaves to the bowl.
- 15. Add the halved grapes to the bowl.
- 16. Mix the walnuts, thyme, and grapes together in the bowl.
- 17. Heat butter in the same pan over medium heat.
- 18. Place the Manouri cheese in the pan.
- 19. Fry the cheese on the first side for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 20. Turn the cheese over.
- 21. Fry the cheese on the second side for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 22. Place the fried Manouri cheese on the plates.
- 23. Top the cheese with the walnut-grape mixture.
- 24. Drizzle the dish with honey.
- 25. Serve the dish immediately.
