🍽️ Crispy Salmon with Creamy Avocado Dip and Gnocchi

Ingredients
- Salmon fillet 500 g
- Organic limes 2 pcs
- Avocado oil 100 ml
- Avocado 2 pcs
- chili pepper mix 1 pcs
- Basil, fresh 25 g
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, mixed pinch
- Gnocchi, fresh 500 g
- Chili flakes pinch
- Oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Pat the salmon dry with a kitchen towel.
- 2. Set the fish aside for a few minutes to reach room temperature.
- 3. Halve the limes.
- 4. Squeeze the lime juice into a tall beaker.
- 5. Add some avocado oil to the beaker.
- 6. Halve the avocados and remove the pits.
- 7. Carefully scoop the avocado flesh out of the skin with a spoon.
- 8. Add the avocado flesh to the beaker with the lime juice.
- 9. Roughly chop the chili peppers.
- 10. Add the chili peppers and basil to the beaker.
- 11. Blend the mixture until creamy using a hand blender.
- 12. Season the sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
- 13. Bring about 2 liters of salted water to a boil in a pot.
- 14. Add the gnocchi to the boiling water.
- 15. Cook the gnocchi for about 4 minutes.
- 16. Remove the gnocchi from the heat as soon as they float to the surface.
- 17. Drain the gnocchi.
- 18. Cut the salmon pieces into 4 equal portions.
- 19. Season the salmon pieces with a little salt and chili flakes.
- 20. Heat oil in a frying pan over high heat.
- 21. Place the salmon fillets in the hot pan skin-side down.
- 22. Fry the salmon for about 5 minutes until crispy.
- 23. Turn the fillets over.
- 24. Reduce the heat to low to medium.
- 25. Finish cooking the salmon for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 26. Plate the salmon fillets.
- 27. Serve with the gnocchi and avocado sauce.
- 28. Serve the dish immediately.
