🍽️ Crispy Turkey Strips with Roasted Vegetables and Fresh Herb Yogurt

Ingredients
- potatoes, mainly waxy 1 kg
- zucchini 2 pcs
- carrots 4 pcs
- oil 5 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- dill, fresh 20 g
- yogurt, plain 300 g
- turkey breast fillet 600 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 2 tbsp
- chicken seasoning salt pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 3. Peel the potatoes if you prefer.
- 4. Cut the potatoes into chunks of about 2 centimeters.
- 5. Rinse the zucchini.
- 6. Trim the ends of the zucchini.
- 7. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise.
- 8. Slice the zucchini halves into rounds of about 1.5 centimeters.
- 9. Wash the carrots.
- 10. Remove the ends of the carrots.
- 11. Peel the carrots.
- 12. Cut the carrots in half lengthwise.
- 13. Place the vegetables in a large bowl.
- 14. Add 2 tablespoons of oil.
- 15. Season with salt and pepper.
- 16. Mix everything well until the vegetables are evenly coated.
- 17. Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
- 18. Distribute the vegetables evenly across the baking sheets.
- 19. Roast the vegetables in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 20. Rinse the parsley and dill.
- 21. Shake the herbs dry.
- 22. Pick the leaves from the parsley and the tips from the dill.
- 23. Finely chop the herbs.
- 24. Place yogurt in a small bowl.
- 25. Add the chopped herbs to the yogurt.
- 26. Season the dip with salt and pepper.
- 27. Stir the dip well.
- 28. Rinse the turkey meat.
- 29. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 30. Cut the meat into strips of about 1 centimeter thickness.
- 31. Place 2 tablespoons of flour in a shallow dish.
- 32. Mix the flour with poultry seasoning salt.
- 33. Coat the turkey strips in the flour mixture.
- 34. Shake off any excess flour.
- 35. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan.
- 36. Set the heat to medium-high.
- 37. Fry the turkey strips for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
- 38. Take the vegetables out of the oven.
- 39. Plate the vegetables, turkey strips, and dip.
- 40. Enjoy your meal!
- 41. Tip: You can also bake the turkey strips if you are short on time.
- 42. Then simply season them with poultry seasoning salt, salt, and pepper.
- 43. Bake them for about 12 to 15 minutes in the oven instead.
