Ingredients
- Pointed cabbage 400 g
- Salt pinch
- Carrots 2 pcs.
- Onions, red 1 pc.
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Sugar pinch
- Balsamic vinegar, light 1 tbsp
- Maultaschen with beef 8 pcs.
- Pistachios 10 g
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Wash the pointed cabbage thoroughly, remove the core, and cut the leaves into thin strips. Toss the pointed cabbage with salt in a bowl. Wash and peel the carrots, then grate them coarsely into the pointed cabbage. Knead everything well together and set aside.
- 2. Cut the onions in half, peel them, and slice them into thin rings. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over high heat and sauté the onions with a pinch of sugar for about 2 minutes. Add the balsamic vinegar and let it braise over low heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in another pan over medium to high heat and fry the Maultaschen for about 3 minutes on each side. Then reduce the heat to medium and heat the Maultaschen for another 6 minutes, turning them occasionally.
- 4. Coarsely chop the pistachios. Season the pointed cabbage and carrots with salt, pepper, and sugar, and plate them. Cut the fried Maultaschen in half diagonally, place them on the cabbage salad, and serve topped with braised onions and sprinkled with pistachios. Enjoy your meal!
