Ingredients
- Figs 8 pcs.
- Butter 1 tbsp.
- Brown sugar 2 tbsp.
- Balsamic vinegar, light 3 tbsp.
- Vanilla ice cream 4 tbsp.
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the figs thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Cut the figs into four equal quarters.
- 3. Heat a frying pan over medium to high heat.
- 4. Melt the butter in the hot pan.
- 5. Place the fig quarters in the pan with the cut side facing down.
- 6. Fry the figs for about one minute.
- 7. Sprinkle the sugar evenly over the figs.
- 8. Let the sugar caramelize briefly until it turns golden brown.
- 9. Remove the figs from the pan.
- 10. Distribute the figs onto four plates.
- 11. Deglaze the caramel in the pan with the balsamic vinegar.
- 12. Boil the sauce for about two minutes.
- 13. Wait until the sauce becomes thick.
- 14. Place scoops of vanilla ice cream on the plates with the figs.
- 15. Pour the warm balsamic caramel over the ice cream.
- 16. Serve the dish immediately.
