🍰 Baked Plums with Walnut Cream

Ingredients
- Plums 750 g
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Oranges 1 pcs
- Brown sugar 50 g
- Cinnamon 1 tsp
- Walnut kernels 40 g
- Sugar 50 g
- Quark 40 % Fett i.Tr. 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (top/bottom heat). Wash the plums, quarter them, and remove the pits. Place them in a butter-greased baking dish. Thoroughly rinse the orange under hot water, finely grate the peel, halve it, and squeeze out the juice.
- 2. Mix the orange juice and peel with cane sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and pour this mixture over the plums. Bake everything in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- 3. Toast the walnuts in a pan without fat over medium heat for approx. 4 minutes. Sprinkle them with sugar and let them caramelize. Place them on a piece of baking paper and let them cool. Coarsely chop the walnut brittle.
- 4. Mix quark with 1/2 tsp cinnamon in a bowl and fold in the walnut brittle. Serve the baked plums together with the walnut cream in bowls. Enjoy!
