🍽️ Oven-Baked Cauliflower Steaks with Fresh Coriander Nut Sauce

Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 pc
- Curry powder 0.5 tsp
- Turmeric, ground pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Oil 6 tbsp
- Coriander, fresh 20 g
- Garlic cloves 1 pc
- Ginger, fresh 10 g
- Peanuts 1 tbsp
- Sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the cauliflower under running water.
- 3. Remove the outer leaves and the hard core at the base.
- 4. Place the cauliflower flat on your cutting board.
- 5. Starting from the center, cut thick slices about two centimeters thick.
- 6. Place the resulting steaks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 7. Mix curry powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper with two tablespoons of oil in a small bowl.
- 8. Coat the cauliflower steaks thoroughly with this spice mixture.
- 9. Place the tray in the upper third of the preheated oven.
- 10. Roast the steaks for about 20 minutes until they are dark brown.
- 11. Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the fresh coriander.
- 12. Remove the thick stems from the coriander.
- 13. Roughly chop the coriander leaves.
- 14. Peel a clove of garlic and chop it finely.
- 15. Peel a piece of ginger and chop it finely as well.
- 16. Roughly chop a handful of peanuts.
- 17. Put the coriander, garlic, ginger, and peanuts into a tall container.
- 18. Add four tablespoons of oil.
- 19. Blend the mixture finely until a sauce forms.
- 20. Add a little water if necessary to loosen the sauce.
- 21. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
- 22. Take the finished cauliflower steaks out of the oven.
- 23. Place the steaks on the serving plates.
- 24. Drizzle the steaks generously with the coriander peanut sauce.
- 25. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal.
