  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Thoroughly wash the cauliflower under running water.
  3. 3. Remove the outer leaves and the hard core at the base.
  4. 4. Place the cauliflower flat on your cutting board.
  5. 5. Starting from the center, cut thick slices about two centimeters thick.
  6. 6. Place the resulting steaks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. 7. Mix curry powder, turmeric, salt, and pepper with two tablespoons of oil in a small bowl.
  8. 8. Coat the cauliflower steaks thoroughly with this spice mixture.
  9. 9. Place the tray in the upper third of the preheated oven.
  10. 10. Roast the steaks for about 20 minutes until they are dark brown.
  11. 11. Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the fresh coriander.
  12. 12. Remove the thick stems from the coriander.
  13. 13. Roughly chop the coriander leaves.
  14. 14. Peel a clove of garlic and chop it finely.
  15. 15. Peel a piece of ginger and chop it finely as well.
  16. 16. Roughly chop a handful of peanuts.
  17. 17. Put the coriander, garlic, ginger, and peanuts into a tall container.
  18. 18. Add four tablespoons of oil.
  19. 19. Blend the mixture finely until a sauce forms.
  20. 20. Add a little water if necessary to loosen the sauce.
  21. 21. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
  22. 22. Take the finished cauliflower steaks out of the oven.
  23. 23. Place the steaks on the serving plates.
  24. 24. Drizzle the steaks generously with the coriander peanut sauce.
  25. 25. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy your meal.
