🍽️ Shrimp with Passion Fruit Salsa

Ingredients
- shrimp raw, frozen 500 g
- passion fruit 2 pcs.
- thyme, fresh 10 g
- baguette 1 pc.
- butter 3 tbsp
- salt pinch
- cayenne pepper pinch
Instructions
- 1. Thaw the shrimp overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 3. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
- 4. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5. Cut the passion fruit halves lengthwise.
- 6. Scoop out the passion fruit pulp with a spoon.
- 7. Set the fruit pulp aside.
- 8. Wash the thyme sprigs under cold water.
- 9. Shake the thyme sprigs dry.
- 10. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
- 11. Place the bread in the preheated oven.
- 12. Bake the bread for about 8 minutes.
- 13. Remove the bread from the oven when it is golden brown.
- 14. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat.
- 15. Fry the shrimp in the hot butter.
- 16. Fry the shrimp for about 3 minutes on the first side.
- 17. Turn the shrimp and fry for another 3 minutes.
- 18. Place the cooked shrimp in a bowl.
- 19. Add the prepared passion fruit pulp to the shrimp.
- 20. Add the remaining butter to the mixture.
- 21. Season the mixture with salt to taste.
- 22. Season the mixture with cayenne pepper to taste.
- 23. Add the thyme leaves to the mixture.
- 24. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 25. Serve the shrimp together with the passion fruit salsa.
- 26. Serve the toasted baguette alongside.
