  5. 5. Beat soft butter with a hand mixer and whisk until fluffy.
  6. 6. Gradually add 200 grams of sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs.
  7. 7. Continue stirring until the mixture is fluffy.
  8. 8. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and the lemon zest.
  9. 9. Stir everything with milk to form a smooth batter.
  10. 10. Spread the batter onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  11. 11. Bake the dough for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  12. 12. Remove the cake from the oven.
  13. 13. Let the cake cool down completely.
  14. 14. Soak gelatin in cold water.
  15. 15. Drain the mandarin oranges in a sieve.
