🍰 Homemade Fruit Bars

Ingredients
- Soft dates, dried and pitted 200 g
- Apricots, fresh 100 g
- Dried plums 100 g
- Walnut kernels 100 g
- Hazelnut kernels, whole 50 g
- Almonds, whole 50 g
- Wafer sheets 16 pcs.
Instructions
- 1. Place the dried fruit in a tall bowl.
- 2. Pour about 400 milliliters of hot water over the fruit.
- 3. Let the fruit soak in the water for about 10 minutes.
- 4. Roughly chop the nuts and almonds in the meantime.
- 5. Drain the soaked fruit using a sieve.
- 6. Return the drained fruit to the tall bowl.
- 7. Add the chopped nuts and almonds.
- 8. Blend the entire mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
- 9. Lay out 16 rice paper wrappers flat on a work surface.
- 10. Take a wet spatula.
- 11. Spread a dollop of the fruit mixture onto each wrapper.
- 12. Smooth the mixture with the spatula.
- 13. Place another wrapper on top as a lid.
- 14. Press the bars gently so they stick together.
- 15. Pack the bars airtight or serve them immediately.
