  1. 1. Place the dried fruit in a tall bowl.
  2. 2. Pour about 400 milliliters of hot water over the fruit.
  3. 3. Let the fruit soak in the water for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Roughly chop the nuts and almonds in the meantime.
  5. 5. Drain the soaked fruit using a sieve.
  6. 6. Return the drained fruit to the tall bowl.
  7. 7. Add the chopped nuts and almonds.
  8. 8. Blend the entire mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
  9. 9. Lay out 16 rice paper wrappers flat on a work surface.
  10. 10. Take a wet spatula.
  11. 11. Spread a dollop of the fruit mixture onto each wrapper.
  12. 12. Smooth the mixture with the spatula.
  13. 13. Place another wrapper on top as a lid.
  14. 14. Press the bars gently so they stick together.
  15. 15. Pack the bars airtight or serve them immediately.
