  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Cut the plums, figs, and apricots into small cubes.
  3. 3. Place the cut fruits together with the raisins in a bowl.
  4. 4. Pour 100 milliliters of port wine over the fruits and let them soak.
  5. 5. Separate the eggs so that you have distinct egg yolks and egg whites.
  6. 6. Beat the egg yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy.
  7. 7. Stir the oil into the egg yolk mixture.
  8. 8. Mix the flour with the baking powder.
  9. 9. Add the remaining port wine to the flour mixture.
  10. 10. Stir everything together to form a smooth batter.
  11. 11. Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl until stiff.
  12. 12. Gently fold half of the egg whites into the batter.
  13. 13. Add the remaining egg whites and fold them in.
  14. 14. Add the soaked fruits and their juice to the batter.
  15. 15. Mix the fruits evenly into the batter.
  16. 16. Grease a loaf pan with a length of 30 centimeters with butter.
