🍰 Festive Berry Dessert with Vanilla Cream

Ingredients
- frozen berry mix 600 g
- tonka bean paste 1 tsp
- sugar 50 g
- cornstarch 1 tbsp
- water 3 tbsp
- whipping cream 250 g
- plain skyr 250 g
- powdered sugar 50 g
- vanilla extract 1 tsp
- chocolate stars 24 g
- chopped and roasted hazelnut kernels 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Put 500 grams of berries, the tonka bean, and the sugar into a pot.
- 2. Mix the starch with the water and add the mixture to the fruit.
- 3. Let the fruit mixture simmer for two to three minutes until it thickens.
- 4. Pour the warm fruit filling into a bowl and let it cool down.
- 5. Whip the fridge-cold cream in a bowl until stiff.
- 6. Gently fold in the skyr, the powdered sugar, and the vanilla extract into the cream.
- 7. Place the vanilla cream in the refrigerator for further processing.
- 8. Prepare six glasses of your choice.
- 9. Add two tablespoons of the cooled fruit filling to each glass.
- 10. Fill the vanilla cream into a piping bag with a star tip.
- 11. Distribute the cream evenly over the fruit filling in the glasses.
- 12. Decorate the desserts with frozen berries, two chocolate stars, and chopped hazelnuts.
