  2. 2. Heat the cream in a pot over medium heat until it boils.
  3. 3. Add the chocolate pieces and sugar to the hot cream.
  4. 4. Stir until everything has completely dissolved.
  5. 5. Let the chocolate mixture cool down.
  6. 6. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
  8. 8. Wash the pear thoroughly.
  9. 9. Cut the pear in half lengthwise.
  10. 10. Rub the cut surface of one pear half with a little lemon juice.
  11. 11. Place this half on a large plate.
  12. 12. Cut the second pear half into two pieces as well.
  13. 13. Remove the core from the pear pieces.
  14. 14. Cut the pear pieces into bite-sized chunks.
  15. 15. Peel the banana.
  16. 16. Slice the banana into rounds.
  17. 17. Drizzle the pear pieces and banana slices with the remaining lemon juice.
  18. 18. Peel the kiwi.
  19. 19. Cut the kiwi into quarters lengthwise.
  20. 20. Cut the kiwi quarters into small pieces.

  22. 22. Remove any damaged berries or unripe grapes.

  24. 24. Decoratively fold back the husks of the physalis (cape gooseberry).
  25. 25. Arrange the raspberries, kiwi pieces, grapes, banana slices, and pear pieces around the pear base.
  26. 26. Arrange them to resemble the feathers of a peacock.
  27. 27. Place the physalis as an outer ring around the entire fruit figure.
  28. 28. Put the cooled chocolate mixture and the quark into a bowl.
  29. 29. Whip the mixture with a mixer until it is creamy.

  31. 31. Shape them into two small dots and place them as eyes on the pear half.
