  1. 1. Cut the onion in half and peel off the outer skin. Slice the onion into very thin strips.
  2. 2. Wash the lemon under hot water. Grate about one teaspoon of the fine zest.
  3. 3. Wash the dill and shake it dry. Remove the thick stems and chop the leaves finely.
  4. 4. Break the salmon into coarse pieces.
  5. 5. Whisk mustard and honey in a small bowl until you have a smooth sauce.
  6. 6. Place a piece of baking paper on your serving board. Spread the cream cheese spoonful by spoonful evenly on top.
  7. 7. Season the cream cheese with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
  8. 8. Distribute the sliced onions, the lemon zest, the chopped dill, the salmon pieces, and the capers over the cream cheese.
  9. 9. Drizzle the prepared honey-mustard sauce over the entire board.
  10. 10. Serve the board with fresh baguette.
